It was a truly head scratcher. Some of the great assets of the property were its location outside the strict historic district of DC and a rear alley that allowed parking for two cars. An unheard-of benefit in this highly desirable area. The lack of severe restrictions allowed for a more creative and expansive project. Look at the photos of the view from the roof, accessed by a folding, glass sky-panel. One would have to say, "How can one possibly top that?"
