The Prout at Eastern Market

Washington, D.C.

This area of the nation's capital has gone under an amazing transformation in recent years with late 1800's brick structures that were left to gather dust. Two, three story cornice toped town homes were ear tagged and a little worn and a little ragged around the edges. They were combined into nine very livable urban homes with a gathering space in the backyard that included a trellised dining and barbeque and a secluded place that was perfect to read a book. Who said you couldn't judge a book by its cover. These homes were judged some of the best in the country .
